Recommendations for FYS curriculum

Recommended an adjustment to “Who’s My Neighbor?” essay assignment, encouraging students to interview someone who is older than them and in the working world (as opposed to interviewing a peer).

Mentor Meet-Ups could also be incentivized by FYS faculty — either offering extra credit for cards completed or even including a completed card (= 3 vocation-related conversations) as a course requirement.
